It would be considered defacing government property on some level I believe, but cant we hack into a gov website and change part of the front page or something that could show our message and get our point across? A lot of people go on government websites and many people would see our side that way..

Zaphiel is right.
This is a horrible idea. I love your attitude to get this off the ground, but honestly, we can't have ourselves looking like pirate-hackers, butthurt by our torrents maybe getting taken away.
We have to approach this maturely. Its not like all we are doing is writing letters. We just need to mass the numbers first. IT just takes a couple weeks to get some significant numbers before we can start real protest and etc.

Exactly. That is all of our stance on this. Even those of us who can hack and attack have held off, because that will not further our case in the least.
