We must be professional and mature about our "protests" and posts. If this becomes another /b/, we will lose face, cred, and this battle. Please refrain from using Memes, racism, hatemongering, and the normal lack of morals.
Can we get this stickied?

/agree Part of why I was against the anonymity request in the other thread. If we go around parading in guy fawkes masks like in Project Chanology, we end up looking like fucking idiots.

I don't think this should get sticked even if i really agree with what you're saying. A more complete post with more aspects should be tho. Take every aspect and explain what you mean in details, like in the what not to do thread, then ask Anonymous to stick it.

To all those who would like to participate, I would ask that you please to conduct yourself in a professional manner.
First and foremost no illegal activity should be carried out in the name of this cause. It will only have the opposition viewed as victims and diminishes our credibility as a whole, even if it was just a few who did it.
Formal speech is not required but is encouraged when spreading the word. Avoid using internet phrases such as "lol" or phonetic words like "ur" as these will only diminish the respect people view you with.
Remain neutral in your posts unless on a site that has a bias towards one viewpoint, such as Fox being Conservative/Republican. If they are biased try to appeal to their views.
If you are from sites that share a sort of "internet culture" please do not act as if you were on them at the time. Spouting "memes" will only be viewed as an attempt to antagonize, confuse, or even have your post ignored.
Do not spread the word through the use of "trolling" as you will most certainly be ignored and your efforts will be rendered useless.
This is all I have come up with at the time, feel free to use this...or even add to it if you think of other things I have missed.

Most of us can agree, out side of school/class a teacher is a normal person who has used or heard the term "lol" at least once. You would not write "lol" in an argumentative essay due in your class would you? I wouldn't think so it would probably harm your grade. Lets think of our Op as a final term paper, failure is not an option, or op must be well thought out, it must start with an outline, a rough draft and then our final draft. A final draft that is perfectly worded, organized and professional. A paper that will shake the teacher to their core. This is serious business now lets act like it.

In my defense it was more about everyone being on equal footing socially inside the group, the anonymous thing was just an amusing observation. By no means was I saying we go back to that, just that on the forums we can't expect everyone to remain unbiased all the time.

The reason people become biased against in forums like these is their own fault. I'm not saying it should happen, or justifying it, but if someone comes in here, and goes "hey guise les bom de gubment!", then they look like an idiot.

Regardless of how we speak, or what tactics we advise, we should keep from flaming each other. While that seems like pretty common sense, some of the greatest militarys in the world we conqured by internal strife and lack of moral. Let's not make the same mistake. We can do this, as long as we focus, and work hard to bring down ACTA.
